Hello everyone, trust your day is going or went well. Today, I am sharing this post on living prepared.
Take a moment to consider the individuals who must always be prepared for any situation. This might include first responders, the military, athletes, teachers, parents, pilots, surgeons, or pastors.
However, have you ever thought about yourself being on that list?
As followers of Jesus, we are called to…

“…Be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” (1 Peter 3:15, NIV)
We cannot expect others to observe the commands of Jesus if we are not observing them ourselves.
If we want people to experience God’s love, we must demonstrate that love to them. If we desire others to understand Jesus’ compassion, we must show compassion. If we hope for people to be generous, we must be good stewards of our own resources. If we long for people to engage with God’s Word, we must engage with it ourselves.
When you surrender control of your life to Jesus, His love, joy, and hope will transform you. Your life then becomes an act of worship that reveals the hope within you.
When you live like Jesus, others are drawn to Jesus in you.
As you worship Jesus with your life, you will sincerely declare that Christ in you is your hope and glory. People will believe this because they witness the evidence.
They may not necessarily like who you are or agree with your beliefs, but they will not find a logical reason to hate you when your life revolves around loving others as Jesus loved you.
Therefore, as you navigate each day, strive to live with gentleness and respect towards everyone. Allow the joy, love, and hope of Jesus to permeate your heart, mind, and relationships.
