Who was your most influential teacher? Why?

Alright, so, if we’re talking influential teachers, hands down, it’s Jesus. Yeah, I know, bit of a curveball, right? But hear me out.

First off, the guy was seriously chill. Like, imagine trying to teach a bunch of fishermen and tax collectors, and keeping your cool when they’re arguing about who gets the best seat at the dinner table. That’s some next-level patience. Plus, he was all about ‘meekness,’ which, let’s be honest, is a word you don’t hear every day. 1 But he rocked it.

Then there’s the whole ‘dying for me’ thing. Bit dramatic, I’ll admit, but you’ve gotta respect the commitment. Talk about a grand gesture! And it wasn’t some showy, ‘look at me’ kind of thing. It was just, pure, genuine love.

And he had this knack for finding the people everyone else ignored. You know, the ones who were lost, or messed up, or just plain weird. He didn’t judge them; he just… loved them. Which, in today’s world, is basically a superpower.

So, yeah, Jesus is my teacher. He’s taught me more about patience, love, and forgiveness than anyone else. And honestly, if you can learn to love like that, you’re basically acing life. Plus, he’s got some really good stories. You should check them out sometime.

Respect to my Father all day.
