What’s one small improvement you can make in your life?
One small yet significant improvement I could make is to dedicate just 15 minutes each day to focus on Bible reading and reflection.
Think of it this way: getting to know God deeply is like building a close friendship. You wouldn’t expect to truly understand a friend by just hearing about them occasionally. Instead, you’d spend time with them, listen to their stories, and learn their heart. Similarly, the Bible is God’s way of sharing His story, His character, and His will for your life.
By setting aside even a short time each day, I can create a consistent space to hear God’s voice through His Word. This isn’t about rushing through chapters or ticking off a reading plan. Instead, it’s about intentionally engaging with a small passage. You might read a few verses and then ask yourself:
- What does this tell me about God?
- How does this apply to my life right now?
- Is there anything here that challenges or encourages me?
Over time, this small habit can lead to a profound deepening of your understanding of God and His Word. You’ll begin to recognize His patterns, understand His promises, and see His hand at work in your daily experiences with greater clarity. It’s like gradually piecing together a beautiful mosaic – each small, focused moment of reading and reflection contributes to a richer and more complete picture of God in your life.
